In 2019, he founded ServiceDocs to solve that problem directly — first through physician staffing across New York health systems, and now through hospitalist program support and Hospital at Home services that extend the same standard of care beyond hospital walls.

Dr. Odutayo is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician and experienced hospitalist with an extensive background in inpatient medicine, locum tenens practice, clinical research, and public health. He has provided hospital-based medical care across multiple healthcare systems in New York, serving in both permanent hospitalist and locum tenens roles.
He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Lagos College of Medicine in Lagos, Nigeria, and completed his medical internship at Lagos University Teaching Hospital before pursuing advanced training in the United States. He holds a Master of Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health, completed a three-year Cardiology Research Fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem Hospital Center in New York City.
In 2022, Dr. Odutayo founded ServiceDocs, expanding his professional focus beyond direct clinical practice into physician staffing — built on a practical understanding of the challenges hospitals and health systems face in maintaining reliable physician coverage while delivering efficient, patient-centered care.
